Some Blooms for Your Screen (and Your Sanity)

Some Blooms for Your Screen (and Your Sanity)

If you’re anything like me, you may be clinging onto even the smallest hint of spring. I recently leaned into a softer, more seasonal spring desktop wallpaper aesthetic, and it’s made for the sweetest little shift.

It’s been such a long winter here in Toronto. The kind that seems to drag on and on. And though I’ve noticed the light lingering a little longer in the evenings, it’s still frigid most days. I don’t know about you, but I’m not sure I’ve ever been more ready for things to turn.

In the meantime, I’ve been finding comfort in small details. Like these hand-painted magnolia blossoms by Sarah Konyer. They feel gentle and hopeful, like a quiet reminder that spring is on its way (even if it doesn’t fully feel like it yet!)

I’ve set them as my desktop background, and it’s amazing how something so simple can lift your mood. Just a little moment of beauty in the middle of a very in-between season.
